If I were 20 again...
10 things I would do
Hello my friend,
How are you doing?
You are amazing! I’m still in awe and deeply grateful for how you showed up for me yesterday. Thank you 💛
Voting has now closed. I know some people had technical difficulties and couldn’t vote. I’m not sure what happened exactly, but the organizers mentioned that others had similar challenges too. Oh well, we wait in faith!
Today, I looked at my younger sister (still a teen), and it made me think about when I was 20.
If I were 20 again, here are 10 things I would do intentionally:
Pray longer and spend more time with God. Ask for wisdom daily.
Soak in the Word of GOD. Read it, confess it, and speak it over my life daily.
Get planted in a solid local church.
Learn voraciously. Books (especially biographies/autobiographies), podcasts, and videos that align with my values and positively feed my mind.
Spend time alone. Think, reflect, and process.
Intern/volunteer/spend more time with people I look up to. Lean into their wisdom and learn from their experiences and mistakes.
Find a mentor or coach. Someone who is already living my dream and take their guidance seriously.
Do hard things. Take action quickly, stretch myself, and apply for opportunities even when I don’t feel qualified.
Build strong habits. Create a daily routine and fight for my consistency and focus.
Tell my story online. Share my growth, lessons, and journey to build my personal brand.
Looking back, I’m glad I started living these principles from age 15. So this isn’t regret. It’s proof. These 10 things can accelerate your growth, no matter your age.
The best part? Even with just one year of practice, they will shift your life in remarkable ways.
I hope this is helpful.
Thank you once again for yesterday.
I’ll see you next time. Till then, stay fabulous.
With Love, Aramide.

Way to go......
Thank you so much for this. I am in my 20s now and it is so so a lot if I can put it that way.
