Hello my friend,

How are you doing?

During my devotion a few weeks ago, I was speaking to GOD about something that I was worrying about, and HIS response to me was Jeremiah 3:15:

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

I was reminded through this scripture that I should not be afraid the same way others are because I have been fed with knowledge and understanding.

I thought about it, and it occurred to me that the major cause of fear is a lack of knowledge and understanding. You will always be afraid of something you don’t understand.

Knowledge and understanding of GOD’s word drive out fear, and the more you know and understand the word of GOD, the bolder you become.

I wonder, “Why do many people not go to church, yet they deal with everyday issues that can only be sorted when you meet a pastor given to you by GOD— a pastor after GOD’s heart?

After I graduated from college in 2018, I was in a deep search for a good local church.

Remember last week, I talked about the environment you place yourself in. I knew that if I joined the wrong church, my life would be negatively affected.

So, I was very intentional about choosing the church I attended.

My husband and I (at the time, we were still courting) prayed and prayed for GOD to show us where to settle in.

We visited two churches but didn’t sense that that was our place. But on our 3rd visit, we just knew— this was home.

So, we settled in, and truly, since I joined that church in 2019, my life has experienced quantum leaps— literally!

The name of that church is GOD’s Heritage of Faith Church.

The biggest miracle of being in a good church and having a good pastor is that you find answers to life’s biggest questions even right in the middle of a sermon. It’s like GOD is speaking to you in the midst of a crowd.
